 As the old saying goes, "You never get a second chance to make a first impression."  Why do you think first impressions are so important?  What do you think are the keys to making a good first impression?


the first impression is really important because it could be the making  or breaking point of a friend ship with the other person . the  keys of making a good first impression is to not embarrass yourself or the other person.

The things they carried by Tim o'brien pages #1-10

what I read from the first 10 pages of The things they carried was that the First lieutenant Jimmy Cross was in love with a girl named Martha who he wants to think she loves him but part of him thinks that she doesn't. He also wants to believe that she's a virgin but I highly doubt it because it also says that she's had a couple of boyfriends before. than he has his platoon of about 17 men and they used to draw sticks wit numbers between 1-17 and whoever got 17 was supposed crawl through the tunnel with a flashlight, and the lieutenants .45-caliber pistol. the rest would stay outside and act as security.
