November 20th

Think of someone for whom you feel nothing but enmity. Now imagine that tomorrow morning you wake up to discover that you and this person are two heads on the same body. Describe your day. it would most likely be one of the worst days ever for me.

Many people look at life and see a need for change. What if we could change in ways that made it easier to accept and navigate life the way it is? What can you change about yourself that would make you more effective at living your best life? something  that i would change about my life is how much activity I do everyday

As the old saying goes, "You never get a second chance to make a first impression."  Why do you think first impressions are so important?  What do you think are the keys to making a good first impression? the first impression is really important because it could be the making  or breaking point of a friend ship with the other person . the  keys of making a good first impression is to not embarrass yourself or the other person.

November 17th

We all encounter emergencies-- illness, earthquakes, stalled cars, the occasional zombie apocalypse--so what can you do to be prepared? Describe planning or training for something that might actually happen. i would probably have something on me that would help me in these situations

When we read we make connections between the text and what we already know.  Sometimes we find ourselves surprised when a book calls to mind an old memory we haven't thought about in a long time.  What are your earliest memories?  What makes some things impossible to remember and other things impossible to forget? probably what makes things so memorable is an experience you've had with something and what makes something so forgettable is how dull it can be and how it can blur in-between other things.

Some holidays are worth celebrating every day.  Feeling grateful makes us happier, healthier, and more productive, so why not celebrate Thanksgiving today?  Think of something/someone for whom you are truly grateful, and use today's journal time to give thanks. ill celebrate thanksgiving when its time but if I were to thank anybody it would be my brother for being such a cool role-model and a very pushy brother but supportive.

November 11th

If observing Veteran's Day is important to you, please do so with honor. Take a quiet moment. Thank a person who has served our country. I thanked my Uncle this veterans day cause he served in the military for a couple of years

November 10th

What do you think or say when someone makes fun of your lunch? Nothing mostly because I don't bring a lunch from home and mostly get lunch from school.

November 9th

What do you think of when you see the word FUTURE? what I think of when  I see the word future is improvement.

November 6th

What routines are you adopting to compensate for the lack of school/sports/work structure in your life?  Are you exercising, reading, learning something new?  Do you eat and go to bed on some sort of schedule? Starting to do exercise with my brother and dad and my sleep schedule is terrible

November 5th

How does uncertainty make you feel?  Do you think uncertainty is somehow inherently bad or good, or do the stories we tell ourselves about it make it so?  We are all navigating uncertainty, so please feel free to contribute today's journal entry as a comment to this post. when I'm uncertain i start to feel queasy and nauseous  and imo its bad not good.

November 4

It seems like the election is on everyone's minds today. What do you think the presidential election says about our country? What do you want to see happen this week? (OPTION: since today's topic is about public democracy, feel free to answer the question in a comment to this post instead of writing in your notebook.)  i don't like the presidential election its always between two complete Neanderthals and i hate it. but if i was forced to vote i would vote for  Biden

chapter 10 first impression

what my first impressions from chapter 10 of les mis is that we mostly hear about the bishop and how everybody hated the dying man which is kind of sad.

November 3rd

Every once in a while, often during moments of extreme stress, ordinary people do extraordinary things. (You've probably heard of stories where a mother lifts a car off of a child, for example. This is a real thing-- it's called  "hysterical strength"  and there are lots of cases.) What makes this possible? Can you apply this idea over the next few weeks to achieve your academic goals for the semester?  what makes this possible is the bodies stress response, which triggers a a rush of hormone adrenaline. I cannot think of any ways to apply this to my academic goals for the semester

November 1st

Today I got to speak with my daughter online. Who are the people you miss right now because you can't get out of the house or do the things you usually do? The people that I miss the most are probably my friends from school and my travel ball teammates and i cant get out of the house so i cant usually go to my favorite places
